About this SiteThis site uses two kinds of file formats, HTM and PDF. HTM is the most commonly used format and can be viewed by using any one of many Web Browsers. PDF is a format made by Adobe which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and view PDF files. When Adobe Acrobat is properly installed and configured on your computer, it runs seamlessly within your Web Browser by functioning as a plug-in. It opens and closes automatically. If you have trouble viewing any of the documents on this web site, chances are the document that you have selected is a PDF and your computer does not have Adobe Acrobat Reader properly installed. You can determine if a link is connected to a PDF (or other format) by rolling the mouse pointer over the link. Usually, your browser will indicate in the lower left hand corner if the document is a PDF or HTM file. Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free download. It can be found by clicking on the button below. If your computer is marginal, you may want to stay on the safe side and not download and install any new programs including Adobe Acrobat Reader. However, if your computer operates without problems, Adobe Acrobat Reader will be easy enough to install and operate. PDF is rapidly becoming the #2 Internet file format and does a superior job in handling some documents over the HTM format. |
